Relationships. Change. Life.
I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), a therapist healer, an artist, a parent, and an educator.
I center liberation, consent, and joy in my work. Drawing from Black feminism, narrative therapy, internal family systems ("parts work"), improv therapy, and somatic (body centered) healing, I work with each client to choose a healing pathway that fits their values, identities, and hopes.
I work with adolescent and adult clients with brilliant strengths, and struggles such as complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. My clients have told me that they enjoy my informal approach, sense of humor, and honoring their choices. Please note: due to the high interest among BIPOC clients for BIPOC therapists, I work exclusively with BIPOC clients. This includes BIPOC clients who are also LGBTQIA+, disabled, immigrants, refugees, and all of our intersecting identities.
When I'm out of the office, I'm swimming or biking with friends and family, playing and performing improv, or resting at home with my pets, partner, and kiddo.

“In healing we become more ourselves. We move away from controlling our expressions, insisting on who we will be, gatekeeping to manage our insecurities, and we discover who we are after all this time, after all these breaks, with all this joy.”
