Hola! Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I center my practice on supporting queer couples and young adult individuals, with an increased awareness of equity and abolitionism, and dedication to share a safe place from oppression for black and brown bodies of culture. I am a Latinx provider and offer sessions in both English/Spanish.
We all move through the world with a story about who we are, both to ourselves and in relation with others. I don’t see one style as therapy for beneficial for everyone, and instead choose to use narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, hard questions and deep curiosity , among other things—to journey with my clients. I’m not the expert, I’m a strong hand to hold while walking through the tunnel of whatever is bringing you to therapy in this moment. I am laidback, soft spoken-very direct and assign homework. I am not afraid of the road of unlearning, of uncovering, and bringing you back to yourself.
